GSI VLBI solution int02

February 2003

Geographical Survey Institute solution int02 used 1.5 hour sessions of dual band VLBI observations at 8.4GHz and 2.2 GHz from 1997.01.02 till 2003.02.18 carried out under IVS Intensive program. UT1 angles were determined for each session.

Earth orientation parameters

UT1 angle was estimated for each session separately.

Assessment of accuracy of EOP series

Comparison of UT1 angles determined in 377 IVS Intensive sessions which ran simulataneously with 24 hour VLBI sessions gives us a measure of accuracy of the UT1 estimates. Plot of the differences in UT1 angles determined in 1.5 hour IVS Intensive sessions with respect to 24 hour VLBI sessions.
Statistics of the differences in UT1 angles int02 minus gsi2002c

Number of points: 377
Average: 0.9 +- 7.6 musec
